Welcome to CAMTuning — we’re excited to get started on your Toyota.
This guide walks you through installing your Cobb Accessport and submitting the information needed to begin the tuning process.
Please read the entire guide before starting and follow each step carefully. Skipping steps or missing details can delay your tune.
Step 1: Prepare Your Accessport
Before connecting the Accessport to your vehicle:
Connect the Accessport to your computer using the included USB cable
Open Accessport Manager and allow it to fully update
Download Accessport Manager here:

Uncheck this box under options:

Step 2: Install the Accessport & Bypass Harness
Install the Bypass Harness
Follow Cobb’s written installation instructions:

Toyota Accessport Installation
Begin Installation
Power on the Accessport
Select Install
Follow all on-screen instructions exactly
Map Selection
Select Stage0 – Simulated Stock TCM v100
Pay close attention to all key-off wait times shown on screen
The battery charger warning may be ignored
What to Expect During Installation
Check engine lights and system warnings are normal during installation
These will be cleared automatically during the final steps
ToyotaCare Note
In rare cases, ToyotaCare may contact you regarding a system malfunction during installation. This is normal and not a cause for concern.
Post-Install Warnings
After installation, you may see warnings related to the secondary collision braking system. These typically clear on their own within a few minutes of driving.
If You See “Vehicle Not Supported”
If the Accessport displays a “vehicle not supported” message:
Allow the Accessport to download the ECU image
Connect the Accessport to your computer using Accessport Manager
Select All Files or ECU Data from the menu
Locate the .dat file
Email the file to:
tuningsupport@camtuningperformance.com
Cobb’s engineers will add support and we’ll notify you once it’s ready.
CRITICAL: Post-Installation Cleanup
Do not skip this section.
Before proceeding:
The key must be OFF
The Accessport must be UNPLUGGED
Remove the Bypass Harness
You may remove and store the bypass harness.
Future flashing and datalogging can be done directly through the OBD port.
Reinstall the CAN Terminator Block
The CAN terminator block must be reinstalled at the end of the factory harness.
Refer to the installation video if needed.
Important Warning
Failing to reinstall the CAN terminator block before cycling the key on will cause system errors.
If this occurs:
Reinstall the terminator block
On the Accessport, go to Tune → Change Current Map
Re-select the same map to repeat the install and reset the system
SET UP AUTO OFF ON THE ACCESSPORT TO AVOID BATTERY DRAIN
Step 3: Submit the Remote Tuning Intake Form
To complete the intake process:
Connect the Accessport to your computer
Open Accessport Manager
Select AP Info
Copy all displayed information

Final Notes
Submitting the CAMTuning Tuning Intake Page officially starts the tuning process
Missing or incorrect information will delay your tune
Please ensure all fields are completed accurately
